A Local Name Whatcom County Has Trusted Since 1991
When disaster strikes a home or business in Bellingham, Blaine, Ferndale, Lynden, Everson, or Arlington, you don't want a stranger walking through your door, you want a neighbor. ServiceMaster Cleaning by Roth has been Whatcom County's family-owned restoration company for more than three decades, built on the same simple promise Tim Roth started with in 1991: show up fast, do the work right, and treat every customer like family.
Our Story
Tim Roth opened the doors of ServiceMaster Restore in Whatcom County in 1991 after years spent working in the trades. He wanted to build something that served his community and supported his family, and that's exactly what he did for the next three decades.
In 2007, his son Sam joined him in the field, working alongside his dad while putting himself through Western Washington University. Sam's role kept growing over the years, and by 2015 he knew he wanted to carry the family business forward. He spent the next several years working toward buying it, and in 2020, Sam officially took over as owner while Tim retired.
The business Sam leads today still stands on the foundation Tim built over 30 years at the helm. Sam shares his father's core belief: serving Whatcom County well means showing up with genuine kindness and outstanding care for clients on some of the hardest days of their lives, the day a fire or flood damages the place they call home.
Local Leadership with a Long-Term Perspective
As owner and president, Sam Roth believes that successful restoration projects are built on preparation, education, and strong people.
That philosophy shapes how the company invests in its team members. Ongoing training, professional development, and industry certifications help ensure every customer receives knowledgeable service from professionals who understand both the technical and human side of restoration.
Sam's focus has always been creating a culture where team members grow their careers while delivering an exceptional experience for customers.
