With a mission deeply rooted in compassion and service, Hire Heroes USA has been significantly impacting the lives of veterans and their families. ServiceMaster Restore recognizes the importance of supporting military families and is proud to announce the launch of our We Serve: Veterans program, a partnership with Hire Heroes USA.
Hire Heroes USA is a nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to helping military veterans and their spouses find employment and build successful careers after serving the nation. Founded in 2007 by John Bardis, a successful businessman and veteran advocate, Hire Heroes USA has become a leading force to combat veteran unemployment. Their impact can be measured in the countless success stories of veterans and their families who have benefited from their services. These stories highlight the tangible difference this organization has made in the lives of those who have served our country.
Did you know that each year, approximately 300,000 service members are discharged from the military, with a staggering 80% lacking job prospects upon their return home? Additionally, military spouses face an unemployment rate four times higher than the national average. Considering these challenges, we have teamed up with Hire Heroes USA.
We will begin our partnership with Hire Heroes USA by raising funds in support of their Veterans 11 campaign and help make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans and their families. To launch our new program, we are hosting two fundraising golf tournaments, one in the west and one in the east:
- The Inaugural East Golf Tournament will be held in Atlanta, GA on October 17.
- The Inaugural West Golf Tournament will be held in Carlsbad, CA on October 25.
These events will be an incredible opportunity to enjoy a day on the green and make a lasting impact on the lives of our nation's heroes.
