This week ServiceMaster and Matt Paxton were able to bring awareness about hoarding clean-up and the mind of a hoarder to two different groups.
Wednesday, April 6th, The Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna, GA hosted us and we had 50 attendees from the social worker, senior care manager, psychologist, professional organizer, and healthcare communities.
Thursday, April 7th, The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce hosted us as their guest speaker at their lunch and learn sponsored by the Columbus Cottonmouths at the Columbus Civic Center. Here we had another 50 attendees from the Columbus business community. Local TV station WTVM came out and did an interview with Matt, further spreading the word about today’s hoarder and how common an actual hoarding situation is.
