Meet the Team - Kaelyn Comer

Position: Large Loss Coordinator

Kaelyn joined the Monroe team in 2022 as a coordinator at our Elkhart office. Since then, she has continually expanded her expertise by providing valuable administrative support across all Monroe branches. Her dedication and growth have earned her a new opportunity: supporting our expanding Large Loss division. In a recent interview with Kaelyn:

Q: What do you like most about your current position?

Kaelyn: One of the greatest aspects of working at Monroe Restoration, and being part of the Large Loss Team, is the opportunity to impact people's lives during challenging times. Helping homeowners and business owners recover from disasters is rewarding as it can bring relief and hope to those affected.

Q: Can you tell us about your experience as the Large Loss Team Coordinator and what makes this division special?

Kaelyn: Being part of the Large Loss division is special because it allows you to work on complex, high-stakes projects that require problem-solving, collaboration, and attention to detail. Managing large claims often means interacting with diverse teams, addressing unique challenges, and seeing the direct results of your efforts in restoring properties and lives. The Large Loss division's work is critical to ensuring timely and fair resolutions for substantial losses, making it a crucial and fulfilling role. Being a part of this team combines expertise, coordination, and empathy to tackle some of the more difficult projects.

Q: Tell us what you like doing outside Monroe, Kaelyn.

Kaelyn: In my free time, I like to cook, read, and spend time with my two cats!
 

Fire Loss Before & After

o On the evening of February 15, 2024, we received a call from the Elkhart Fire Department requesting a board-up of a residence that had been affected by fire. We responded quickly to secure the home from the elements and started the clean-up process. While our ServiceMaster team cleaned and deodorized the home and the family's belongings, our Monroe team sprang into action and completed the repairs needed to restore this home to its previous glory beautifully. The best part is, we got this lovely family back home just in time to enjoy the holiday season!
