Philanthropy
Every year we have a charity to which we donate. In the past we have hosted events centered around raising money for Heading Home, Cure for Kathy-Brigham and Women’s, Running for Ro, and Toys for Tots. In 2015 Amy Garanin won Heading Home Volunteer of the Year award for donating her so much of her time to the organization. in 2014 the company won the Ken Hansen National Award at the 2014 ServiceMaster convention.
A Cure For Kathy:
Steven Gilmore founded “A Cure for Kathy” to raise money to Lymphangioleiomyomatosis or LAMs Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. LAM is a very rare, incurable lung disease that affects young women in their prime. ServiceMaster by Gilmore has held many fundraisers for this cause such as the annual Provincetown Cruise and charity raffles.
Toys For Tots
We have participated in Toys for Tots for over 16 years, with over 30 drop off locations. In 2015, we were able to fill an entire 18 wheeler with toys!
